Petroleum coke comes from the delayed coking units of refineries. The grade depends on its sulphur and metal content.
Fuel Grade Green Coke
High sulphur, high calorific value coke for cement kilns, power plants and industrial boilers.
Anode Grade Green Coke
Low sulphur and low metal coke, calcined and used to make anodes for aluminium smelting.
Calcined Petroleum Coke
Green coke heated to about 1,300°C. Used for anodes, graphite electrodes and carbon additives.
