D6 is a heavy residual fuel oil under ASTM D396 Grade No. 6. The virgin low pour grade comes straight from atmospheric or vacuum distillation, so it stays pumpable at lower temperatures.
Virgin Origin
Straight-run residue with no cracked or recycled blending components, giving stable and consistent combustion.
Low Pour Point
Easier pumping, storage and discharge in cold climates, with less heating needed in tanks and lines.
