Request a Quotation View SpecificationsProduct Overview
JP-5 is a military turbine fuel with a flash point of 60°C minimum, much higher than commercial Jet A-1. That makes it safer to store and handle on ships and aircraft carriers. Its NATO code is F-44.
High Flash Point
Flash point of 60°C min reduces fire risk in shipboard storage and fuelling.
Military Specification
Produced to MIL-DTL-5624 and supplied with a certificate of quality for each batch.
Additized
Contains fuel system icing inhibitor, corrosion inhibitor and static dissipator additives as the specification requires.
Inspected Cargo
Quality and quantity verified by an independent inspector at loading and discharge.
Specifications
Limits based on MIL-DTL-5624 for JP-5. The final specification is agreed in the contract and confirmed by the independent inspector's report.
