Colonial Grade 54 is a refined kerosene-type jet fuel moved through the Colonial Pipeline system in the United States. In the trade it is commonly called JP54. It is a commercial aviation fuel and is not a military JP-5 or JP-8 grade.
Pipeline Grade
Refined to the Colonial Pipeline Grade 54 specification for batch shipping and consistent quality.
Aviation Quality
Meets the key ASTM D1655 limits for flash point, freezing point, distillation and thermal stability.
Clean and Dry
Low sulphur and low water content, filtered and handled under aviation fuel quality controls.
Inspected Cargo
Quality and quantity verified by an independent inspector at loading and discharge.
Typical Specifications
Indicative values based on ASTM D1655. The final specification is agreed in the contract and confirmed by the independent inspector's report.
